Fantastic Tapas Bar in the Saguaro Hotel. Celebrating the cuisine of Mexico City, chef Jose Garces, who holds the James Beard Best Chef Mid-Atlantic award, and won Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef 2010” brings the street foods throughout Mexico to Palm Springs, in a setting that feels like a Western frontier bar. The Esquites (sweet corn, queso fresco, chipotle) and Pescado Tacos (crispy fish, pickled red cabbage, avocado, chipotle) were awesomeness. Definitely bar food taken to a new level. Open from 3 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
