Pizzeria Bianco / Phoenix, AZ

Chris Bianco started Pizzeria Bianco inside the back corner of a neighborhood grocery store in 1988, jump ahead to 2003 “POOF”, James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest. Pizza is incredible and if you have the time worth the hour wait for a table. Who am I to argue with The New York Time and Food & Wine both saying “arguably the best pizza in America”.
